Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is a disease that is found in men as well as women. It is the leading cause of cancer death in women between the ages of 15 and 54. It is important to perform monthly exam to detect the earliest signs of breast cancer. However, even for patients not doing routine self-exam early referral to hospital may prevent disasters. A painless or painful mass in the breast or axilla, bloody discharge from the breast, sudden change in the skin or the nipple may indicate malignant or benign disease but the patient should seek immediate medical help.
